The Best Lululemon Dupes

The best Lululemon dupe for most people is the CRZ Yoga Butterluxe: at about $32 it is the closest budget stand-in for the Lululemon Align's buttery feel, and reviewers often make the same comparison. For the Wunder Train, the Gymshark New Whitney is the pick, at about $54 with a squat-proof claim. For a step-up Align alternative with more sizes, try the Athleta Elation.
No dupe is identical, and we do not claim any is. We match each one by feel, fabric, rise and what you use it for, then tell you what you give up. The savings are real in some cases, and small in others: at list price, the Athleta and Fabletics options save only a few dollars.
We have not tested these. The list comes from brand specs and what owners and reviewers keep saying. Prices are list prices and change often, and Lululemon itself often marks styles down.

Our picks, in detail
CRZ Yoga Butterluxe High Waisted Legging 25"
- Women
- Sizes XXS–XL (plus 1X–4X sold separately)
- Rise: High
- Inseam options: 25″
- Pockets: None
- Fabric feel: Buttery
- Plus sizes
Stands in for: Lululemon Align High-Rise Pant 25". The Butterluxe is the closest to the Align on feel. Its buttery fabric (81% nylon, 19% Lycra) is often compared to Align by reviewers, and it has the same high rise and 25 inch inseam. It costs about $32 against about $98, a saving of roughly two thirds.
There are 25 colors on the page, and a Plus version in 1X to 4X is sold separately.
What you give up is durability and opacity. Owners report the thin fabric can pill and show through in light colors, and reviewers say it is less durable than premium options. Align itself has pilling reports, so neither is perfect. There are also no pockets, while Align has a hidden waistband pocket. CRZ states that customers pay return shipping.
Skip it if you need squat-proof opacity or long-term durability. Read the Butterluxe review.
Athleta Elation Ultra High Rise Legging
- Women
- Sizes XXS–3X
- Rise: Ultra
- Inseam options: Petite 25, Regular/Plus 27, Tall 30
- Pockets: Waistband
- Fabric feel: Buttery
- Plus sizes · Petite · Tall
Stands in for: Lululemon Align High-Rise Pant 25". The Elation has a similar soft, second-skin feel in Powervita (75% nylon, 25% Lycra), plus an ultra-high rise, a three-layer waistband and a small back drop-in pocket. It lists at about $89, and the page showed a lower sale price when we checked.
The case for it is range and reliability. Sizes run XXS to 3X, with Petite 25, Regular/Plus 27 and Tall 30 inch inseams, and the page rating was 4.66 from about 11,500 ratings.
What you give up is some of the savings and a little of the feel. At list price it is only about $9 below Align, and compression is moderate. The back pocket is small. Owners suggest checking lighter colors for coverage.
Athleta also offers a 30-day Give-It-A-Workout guarantee. Skip it if you want the cheapest option. Read the Elation review.
Gymshark New Whitney High-Rise Leggings
- Women
- Sizes XXS–XXL (0–14)
- Rise: High
- Inseam options: Regular
- Pockets: None
- Fabric feel: Smooth
Stands in for: Lululemon Wunder Train High-Rise Tight 25". Both are high-rise training leggings with a firmer hold than a soft yoga legging. The Whitney's ButterSmooth fabric (78% nylon, 22% elastane, 230gsm) is described as thicker and squat-proof by Gymshark, and it costs about $54 against about $98.
That is a stronger opacity promise than Lululemon, which makes no squat-proof claim for the Wunder Train.
What you give up: sizes stop at XXL (US 0 to 14), while Wunder Train goes to 20. There are no pockets, where the Wunder Train has a hidden waistband pocket and a drawcord. Gymshark's care note also warns that Haze Pink and Butter Yellow can become sheer when stretched, and the page gives no inseam in inches.
Skip it if you need plus sizes, pockets or an exact length. Read the Whitney review.
Gymshark Lift Seamless 2.0 Mid-Rise Leggings
- Women
- Sizes XXS–XXL (0–14)
- Rise: Mid
- Inseam options: Regular
- Pockets: None
- Fabric feel: Smooth
Stands in for: Lululemon Wunder Train High-Rise Tight 25", if you prefer a lower waist. The Lift Seamless 2.0 is a mid-rise seamless legging (92% nylon, 8% elastane) that sits just below the belly button, with a squat-proof claim and compression similar to the Wunder Train. It costs about $64.
It is the better pick than the Whitney if a high waist bothers you during squats and sit-ups.
What you give up: the rise is different, so it is not a like-for-like swap. Sizes stop at XXL (0 to 14), there are no pockets or drawcord, and the page gives no inseam in inches. The care note warns that Butter Yellow, Super Set Pink and Physical Pink can become sheer when stretched.
Skip it if you want a high waist, pockets or sizes above 14. See the Lift Seamless 2.0 review.
Fabletics Define PowerHold High-Waisted Legging
- Women
- Sizes OSFM, XXS–XXL-1X, 2X–4X
- Rise: Ultra
- Inseam options: 7/8, Regular, Tall
- Pockets: None
- Fabric feel: Compressive
- Plus sizes · Petite · Tall
Stands in for: Lululemon Wunder Train High-Rise Tight 25". The PowerHold is a compressive legging (88% polyester, 12% elastane) with a power-mesh lined waistband that the product copy says stays put through squats. It is firmer than the Wunder Train, with an ultra-high rise.
The reason to choose it is range. Sizes go from XXS to 4X, with 7/8, Regular and Tall lengths, which goes beyond Lululemon's 0 to 20 and its single confirmed length.
What you give up: the saving is small, since the non-member price is about $84.95 against about $98, and the membership model adds complexity. There are no pockets, and the page showed a much lower VIP price under a limited-time offer. The non-member return window is not stated.
Skip it if you want to avoid memberships or need pockets. Read the PowerHold review.
How to choose a Lululemon dupe
Decide which Lululemon style you actually want. "Lululemon dupe" covers very different leggings. The Align is soft and light, designed for low-impact use. The Wunder Train has a firmer hold and a drawcord for training. The Fast and Free is a pocketed running tight. A dupe for one will not do the job of another.
Match feel and fabric. The Align uses Nulu (80% nylon, 20% Lycra). Buttery-feeling alternatives include the CRZ Butterluxe and Athleta Elation. The Wunder Train uses Everlux (77% nylon, 23% Lycra), brushed on the outside and quick-drying. Smooth, higher-hold alternatives include Gymshark's Whitney and Lift and the Fabletics PowerHold.
Count the real saving. At list price, CRZ saves about $66 and Gymshark about $34 to $44. Athleta and Fabletics save under $15. Lululemon often discounts: the page for the Wunder Train showed about $59 on the day we checked, which is close to the Gymshark Whitney's list price of about $54. Check the current price before assuming a dupe is cheaper.
Know what a dupe gives up. Typical trade-offs in our data are narrower sizes (Gymshark stops at XXL), thinner fabric and durability concerns (CRZ), no pockets, and brand return rules. Lululemon allows 30 days for unworn, unwashed items with tags.
Check the details Lululemon sells. Part of what you pay for at Lululemon is range: sizes 0 to 20 and, for Align, three lengths (25, 28 and 31 inches). Several dupes give you one length or a narrower size run, so if you are petite, tall or plus size, confirm that the cheaper option comes in yours. Athleta, Fabletics and Girlfriend Collective are the exceptions, with petite, tall and plus options.
A near miss. The Girlfriend Collective Compressive Pocket Legging is about $118 against $128 for the pocketed Align, but the feel is compressive, not buttery, so we do not count it as a dupe.
How we picked
We have not tested any of these leggings. We looked for leggings in our data that are cheaper than the Lululemon style they resemble, then checked fabric, rise, compression, length, sizes and what owners commonly report. CRZ is the only legging in our data tagged by its record as a well-known Align alternative, and we matched the others by use and feel, not by brand claims. We are not citing any brand as calling these dupes.
Ratings are editorial estimates. We left out brands that cost the same as Lululemon. Read the full process on our methodology page, and see how brands compare in Gymshark vs Lululemon.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best Lululemon Align dupe?
The CRZ Yoga Butterluxe is the closest budget match on feel, at about $32 against about $98, and reviewers often compare it to Align. The Athleta Elation is a pricier but more reliable alternative with more sizes. Owners report CRZ's fabric is thinner and pills more, so durability is the cost.
Is there a good Lululemon Wunder Train dupe?
The Gymshark New Whitney is the best match for a training legging at about $54, and Gymshark states a squat-proof fabric. The Lift Seamless 2.0 is a mid-rise alternative at about $64. Both stop at XXL, and neither has pockets or a drawcord.
Are Lululemon dupes as good as the real thing?
Not exactly. They can match the feel or the job, but usually give up something: durability, size range, pockets or length options. Premium fabrics also get discounted, so a sale on the original may close the gap. Match the dupe to the one feature you care about most.
Are Amazon Lululemon dupes worth it?
Our data does not include Amazon-only leggings, so we cannot say. CRZ Yoga is the budget brand most often compared to Align, and we used its official US page, not Amazon. For other budget picks, see our best cheap leggings.
What is the difference between Align and Wunder Train?
Align is a soft Nulu legging with light compression, built for yoga and low-impact use. Wunder Train is an Everlux legging with firmer hold, a drawcord and a hidden pocket, built for training. Which Lululemon you replace decides which dupe fits you.
